Hong Kong Activist Granted Asylum in UK

Hong Kong pro-democracy activist Tony Chung has been granted asylum in the United Kingdom following Beijing’s clampdown on dissent.

Chung, who previously served prison time under the national security law, said the decision provides him safety as he continues his advocacy abroad.
