Homeless Man Turns in Wallet with 2,000 Euros at Amsterdam Station
A homeless man named Hadjer Al-Ali found a wallet containing approximately two thousand euros on an empty train at Amsterdam Central Station. Despite having been homeless for 18 months, he returned the wallet to the police and received a fifty euro gift voucher for his honesty. If unclaimed within one year, the money will go to Al-Ali.

Despite facing personal hardships, Al-Ali handed the wallet to the police, who noted it had no identity documents.
In recognition of his honesty, the 33-year-old received a 'silver thumb' prize and a fifty euro gift voucher.
Authorities stated if the money is not claimed within one year, it will be returned to Al-Ali.
In a video posted on De Stentor, Al-Ali expressed hope that the owner might provide him with a job or housing in return for his good deed.
