Hollyoaks bids farewell to Damon and Zara in emotional heist departure

Two main characters, Damon and Zara, have exited Hollyoaks in an emotional farewell following the heist storyline.

Cindy, Grace, and Zara planned the heist, but things went awry and Cindy accidentally trapped them in the armoured van.

Grace took the fall for the crime and was arrested, while Cindy and Zara got away with their role in the crime.

Zara decided to leave the village and start a new life, inspired by Cindy's words and Grace's sacrifice.

Damon also left the show to chase his dream of opening a bar in New York.

The two mainstays leaving in one episode marks the end of an era for Hollyoaks, but more drama is to come.

The article discusses two major events in the UK soap opera "Hollyoaks": the diagnosis of Joel Dexter and the overdose of Donna-Marie Quinn.

The special episode "What's Your Normal" will explore Joel's condition.
