The confrontation, ignited by the Israel-Hamas conflict beginning October 7, has led to rampant shelling across the Lebanon-Israel border.

Hezbollah boasts over 20 strikes on Israeli forces, boasting casualties and launching a significant 48-rocket salvo from the Burkan missile at an Israeli base close to Safed. Israel retaliated with airstrikes targeting Hezbollah's operations and launch sites.

Amidst this tension, Iran's Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian discussed regional stability with Hezbollah's Hassan Nasrallah, signaling a collective stance against Israeli actions in Gaza. Iran denies direct attack contributions, even as it supports Hamas and Hezbollah.

The conflict has been deadly, with 109 losses mainly among Hezbollah and Lebanese civilians, while Israel confirms 9 deaths. Funerals were held for Hezbollah militants, including a Lebanese MP's son.

Israel and Hamas, anticipating a brief truce and a potential exchange of hostages and prisoners, signal a potential pause in hostilities, as Iran's President Raisi declares a 'great victory' for Palestinian resistance.
