Handwritten lyrics by David Bowie sold for £89,000 at an auction
The lyric sheet with Bowie's annotations and edits features the songs "Rock n Roll Suicide" and "Suffragette City" from his iconic 1972 album "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars." Hosted by Omega Auctions in Uxbridge, the item was expected to fetch £50,000 to £100,000.

The lyric sheet came with a letter indicating Bowie had given it and other pages, some of which were lost, to the original owner at Trident Studio.
