The Palestinian group announced this news on Monday, implicating the death of the two Israeli hostages who were seized and brought to Gaza on October 7.

The declaration was made by the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, which blamed their deaths on an attack by the Israeli military.
