Third win in a row sets City en route to last-16

Manchester City secured their third consecutive win in the Champions League, this time against Young Boys. The defending champions faced some early pressure but ultimately dominated possession and created several chances.

They took the lead in the second half through a penalty converted by Erling Haaland. Young Boys managed to equalize briefly with an audacious chip by Meschak Elia. However, Haaland sealed the victory for City with a fantastic strike into the top corner. The win keeps Manchester City at the top of their group and on track for the last-16 stage of the tournament.
