Green Brigade fans' group says Celtic board are 'shaming the club'

The Green Brigade fans' group has accused Celtic's board of shaming the club by "attempting to censor and sanction Palestinian solidarity".

The Green Brigade fans' group, known for its vocal support for Palestinian solidarity, has accused Celtic's board of unfairly punishing its members by withdrawing season tickets.

The club cited incidents such as pyrotechnics use and "violent and intimidating behavior" towards stewards as the reason for the ban. However, the Green Brigade believes the sanctions are a result of their unapologetic solidarity with Palestine, including bringing Palestinian flags to matches.

Celtic is expected to face a Uefa fine for the flags. Celtic shareholders' group, the Celtic Trust, has called for the immediate restoration of season ticket rights to the Green Brigade members, accusing the club of being influenced by politics or Uefa pressure.
