A grandmother named Jacqueline Knott, aged 53, has been sentenced to 12 months in jail for a series of offenses including sexual assault, outraging public decency, assault on an emergency worker, failing to provide a specimen of breath, and drug possession.

Her crimes included exposing her breasts in front of children, groping a woman in a nightclub, and assaulting police officers. Knott had a history of offenses, with 32 on her record dating back to 1984, including previous assaults on police and being drunk and disorderly.

The judge described her behavior as "appalling" and attributed it to alcohol and drug use, noting that she became sexually disinhibited when intoxicated.
