The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government has widened Awaab's Law to require landlords to address seven additional serious hazards, including dangerous electrical faults and excessive indoor heat. The strengthened legislation is intended to protect around four million social housing tenants through faster action when homes present immediate risks to health or safety.
