Georgia Harrison, known for her appearance on Love Island, revealing that she has had "serious conversations" with Labour MPs about running for a parliamentary seat in Essex. Harrison expressed her belief that the UK needs "more normal people going into politics." She has been an advocate for raising awareness about violence against women and girls and hopes that her potential run for Parliament would inspire young girls.

Harrison's former partner, Stephen Bear, was jailed earlier this year for posting intimate footage of her online, leading her to become an advocate for victims of revenge porn and advocate for changes in the justice system. She called for sexual assault victims to be prioritized in the justice system and supported changes in the law to make it easier to prosecute individuals for sharing non-consensual intimate images.

While it has not been confirmed whether Harrison will become a parliamentary candidate or which constituency she might run in, her interest in pursuing a political career has garnered support from some Labour MPs who have encouraged her to consider running.
