Osborne, who joined Robey Warshaw in 2021, left his political role in 2016 and later served as editor of the Evening Standard. He is the first partner addition to the firm since its inception.
The firm witnessed a year-on-year increase in partner payouts by 6%, with profits also rising from £30.1 million to £31.8 million and turnover increasing by £6.2 million to £46.1 million. Notably, Robey Warshaw advised on the National Grid's $10.5 billion sale of its gas transmission arm.
Although generating £341 million turnover in eight years, the firm paid no taxes, citing its limited liability partnership structure, which places tax responsibility on individuals for their profit shares.
Sir Simon Robey, an avid Arsenal supporter, resides in Bramfield Hall, a 16th-century Suffolk estate, which he bought using his bonus.
