Families of hostages held in Gaza gathered outside Downing Street, calling for the UK government to intensify efforts to free their relatives.

They met with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and Foreign Secretary David Lammy after a memorial.

The hostages' lawyers mentioned support received from the King and Queen.

Steve Brisley, whose family members were murdered on 7 October, urged the government to 'do better' in bringing hostages home.

The relatives requested a UK-led plan for their release and voiced concerns about military actions overshadowing hostage rescue efforts.

Ayelet Svatitzky and Sharone Lifschitz also shared their tragic stories and appealed for continued global attention.
