The police initiated an investigation in 2020 after Dominique P. was caught filming women in a shopping center, uncovering images and videos of the abuse on his computer.
The abuses, conducted in Mazan, continued from 2011, when the couple lived in Paris, to 2020.
The trial, set to last until December 20, is public, by the victim's request.
