France Bars Israeli Arms Companies from Paris Defense Expo
Elbit, Rafael, and others excluded for refusing to limit weapon displays
France has blocked several major Israeli defense firms from participating in the Paris Eurosatory defense exhibition after they declined to comply with a French directive prohibiting the display of offensive weaponry.
Among those barred are Elbit Systems, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, Israel Aerospace Industries, and Uvision.
The move comes amid heightened scrutiny over arms exports and follows the organizers' enforcement of stricter presentation guidelines for exhibitors.
French authorities had instructed all participating companies to avoid showcasing weapons that could be categorized as offensive under the current regulatory framework.
