Six fire engines and approximately 40 firefighters responded to the scene. The fire destroyed the first-floor flat and the roof of the property, with partial damage to the ground floor flat.
Two individuals had already left the property before firefighters arrived, while five more were led to safety by firefighters and treated on-site by the London Ambulance Service before being hospitalized. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
