FBI Agents Confiscate Electronic Devices of New York Mayor

FBI agents confiscated electronic devices from New York City Mayor Eric Adams, including cellphones and an iPad. This action follows the search of his chief campaign fundraiser's home.

The inquiry scrutinizes a potential illegal funding scheme involving a construction company and foreign entities during Adams' 2021 campaign.

Although Adams has not faced any charges and is cooperating with officials, the probe has led to the indictment of associates for exploiting a "straw donor" tactic to access public campaign funds, all pleading not guilty.

Meanwhile, Adams' fundraiser Brianna Suggs continues to receive payments from his campaign and has prior ties, starting as an intern in 2017.

Amidst these events, Adams canceled Washington meetings to address New York’s migrant shelter crisis.
