Khalid El-Estal is currently working in Saudi Arabia, while his two children, four-year-old Ali and one-year-old Sara, remain in Gaza with their grandparents. He is appealing for a safe passage to bring his children to Belfast.

Unfortunately, there are challenges in securing safe passage for his children out of Gaza due to the ongoing conflict and dangerous conditions. Sinn Féin TD Chris Andrews has expressed concern about Mr. El-Estal's situation and plans to raise his case with the Irish government.

The conflict in Gaza has involved bombings by Israel in response to attacks by Hamas, which is designated as a terrorist group by the UK and the US. Mr. El-Estal lost several family members, including his wife, in the violence. He is desperately seeking help to reunite with his children and bring them to Belfast, where he has strong personal connections.

Efforts are ongoing to facilitate the evacuation of foreign nationals and dual citizens from Gaza, but it is a challenging and time-consuming process given the complex and dangerous situation in the region.
