Fatal Collision on M25 Claims Life of BMW Driver
A man in his 30s dies following a crash involving a BMW Z4 and a Nissan Note near Orpington.
A tragic incident occurred on the M25 near Orpington on Friday night when a silver BMW Z4, driven towards Sevenoaks on the clockwise carriageway between Junctions 3 and 4, veered off the motorway at around 9:55 PM. The vehicle left the busy road on the nearside before returning to the carriageway.
Subsequently, the BMW was involved in a collision with a blue Nissan Note that was traveling in the same direction.
Emergency services promptly arrived at the scene, where the driver of the BMW, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead.
Kent Police have confirmed that the deceased's next of kin has been notified.
Authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
Kent Police have issued an appeal for witnesses as well as dashcam footage from anyone who may have observed the incident or the vehicles prior to the crash.
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is leading the investigation and is seeking information to assist in determining the events leading up to the tragic accident.
