Families of Four Israeli Hostages Appeal to Rishi Sunak to Advocate for Their Release

With the hostages held for over 108 days, the families are desperate for Sunak's intervention.

During a ceasefire last November, with Qatar, Egypt, and the US mediating, Hamas exchanged hostages for Palestinian detainees.

Since her October abduction, Albag, the youngest hostage, has been featured in a distressing Hamas video. Her father, expressing his family's anguish, shared heartbreaking details with Sunak.

Families report that their loved ones are enduring harsh conditions with limited food and water, and there are unconfirmed reports of mistreatment. Ziv Abud survived a brutal attack during her boyfriend Cohen's abduction at a music festival and now mourns with no news of her beloved's fate.

Israeli data indicate 132 people, including 19 women and two children, remain captive in Gaza. Some have been killed. The families believe Qatar holds the key to the captives' release, and they expect the UK to exert pressure on its behalf.

Sunak has expressed his support and commitment to combating antisemitism in the UK, promising to do all he can to assist the families in their plight.
