Pumpkin picking has become a profitable Halloween trend for farmers, largely driven by social media. Farms across the UK are offering pick-your-own pumpkin experiences, and many have reported significant earnings.

Farmers in Flintshire claim they can make up to £30,000 per acre by offering pick-your-own pumpkins. Social media plays a crucial role in promoting these experiences, with Instagram and other platforms fueling the trend.

In the Vale of Glamorgan, for instance, more than 10,000 pumpkins are grown on the Penllyn Estate, and social media has contributed to their booming business.
