Ex-Tesco Chairman John Allan Accused of Misconduct, Resigns from Multiple Positions

He had to step down from his position and was also asked to leave his post as chairman of Barratt Developments.

Allan served as the president of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), which has been rocked by a sexual misconduct scandal.

He acknowledges one complaint about commenting on a woman's appearance, but he wishes he had never used the word "figure".

Allan plans to talk to people who know more about the situation to devise a better way to handle similar cases in the future.
