The court filings re-expose claims against Prince Andrew, including sexual misconduct and involvement with minors, part of a case against Jeffrey Epstein.

Prince Andrew’s chances of repairing his public image are diminished by the disclosure of legal documents linked to Jeffrey Epstein. The prince faces revived claims of inappropriate behavior and relations with a minor.

Newly released papers from a 2015 lawsuit against Ghislaine Maxwell bring Prince Andrew's conduct into question again, mentioning instances like the groping of a woman and alleged sexual encounters with Virginia Giuffre when she was underage.

These documents, deriving from Giuffre's lawsuit and released by Judge Loretta Preska, detail accusations such as Prince Andrew groping Johanna Sjoberg and allegedly having sex with minor Virginia Giuffre at multiple locations. Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted accomplice of Epstein, introduced Andrew to Epstein and is serving a 20-year sentence.

Sjoberg recalled an incident at Epstein's house involving a puppet and claimed she was groped by Andrew, which Buckingham Palace has denied.

Another account accuses Prince Andrew of sexually abusing a minor, identified as Giuffre, who alleges she was trafficked by Epstein and Maxwell.

Maxwell expressed concern over legal complications of her association with Andrew. In an email, she expressed her unfamiliarity with legal matters and her wish to avoid lawsuits, even fearing to label Giuffre a liar.

Despite denying all accusations, including in a settlement with Giuffre in 2022, Prince Andrew has faced significant public scrutiny.

Buckingham Palace has refrained from commenting, distancing itself from Andrew, who is no longer a working royal, and denouncing any exploitation.

The advocacy group Republic reported Prince Andrew to the police following the disclosure, urging the Metropolitan Police to investigate the allegations comprehensively.
