More than 130,000 people in England will benefit from workplace health checks starting 30 August.

These checks involve completing questionnaires to assess cardiovascular risk and are equivalent to NHS appointments.

Initially available in the building, hospitality, and transport sectors, digital health checks will also be piloted in Norfolk, Medway, and Lambeth.

The program aims to increase health check uptake, especially among men, by making it more convenient.

Public Health Minister Andrew Gwynne emphasizes the program's role in shifting healthcare from treatment to prevention.

David Hargroves, NHS national clinical director for stroke, highlights its potential to save lives and prevent diseases like heart disease, cancer, and type 2 diabetes.

The digital initiative aims to provide one million checks in four years and become a national service.
