England Aims to Retain the Ashes with Aggressive Cricket in Final Test at Manchester

The fourth and final Ashes test is set to take place at Manchester, with England needing to win to level the series.

The forecast for the match suggests that rain could be an issue, but England captain Ben Stokes believes that the team is ready to play an even more aggressive brand of cricket.

England won the third test at Headingley thanks to a superb 75 from Harry Brook and some big hitting from tailender Mark Wood, dragging the hosts back into contention.

With the series currently standing at 2-1 in Australia's favor, England will need to win the fourth test to retain the Ashes.

James Anderson will replace Ollie Robinson in the England team, as the 40-year-old fast bowler looks to make an impact in the series.

Anderson has struggled to make an impact so far, but Stokes believes that the bowler will be crucial in the match.

"When you're a world-class performer for such a long period of time, you can understand the frustration for him that he has not felt like he has contributed," said Stokes.

"World-class performers bounce back and deliver." If England win the fourth test and the series goes down to the wire, it has the potential to be one of the best Ashes series in a long time.

"Overall, take away Australia and England, the cricket that's been played has been absolutely brilliant," said Stokes.

"There've been some pretty special moments out on the cricket ground, some special individual performances as well.

I guess that's what you want from sport."
