The international community should bear in mind that the actions deemed permissible for Israel in response to the October 7th terror attack by Hamas set a precedent that could implicitly allow similar responses by Russia towards those it holds responsible for the Moscow attack. This standard, now seemingly acceptable following the West's response to Hamas' attacks on Israel, demands that everyone withhold judgment and await solid and reliable evidence before irresponsibly blaming or exonerating any potential suspect.
