He played a hit-strewn, 21-song set that included songs like "Bennie And The Jets," "Tiny Dancer," "Your Song," and "I'm Still Standing." The 76-year-old legend treated his fans to a masterclass in song and stage craft, with a setlist that never stopped delivering classic pop moments.
He also invited some special guests to sing with him, including Jacob Lusk of US soul group Gabriels and pop newcomer Rina Sawayama.
The show was an emotional and special night for Elton as it may be his last show in England, in Great Britain.
Elton John's final UK tour performance took place at Glastonbury Festival, where he played a two-hour set to a crowd of fans that included Paul McCartney, Taron Egerton, and Kate Hudson.
The set included many of his iconic hits, such as "Bennie & The Jets," "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," and "I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues." He also performed "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" with Brandon Flowers and "Your Song" with the London Community Gospel Choir.
The performance was emotional, with Elton dedicating "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me" to his late friend George Michael and singing "Candle In The Wind" with a lump in his throat.
The set ended with an extended version of "Rocket Man," as fireworks echoed around the site.
Elton said that it had been an incredible journey and that he had had the best time of his life.
