This aid effort is part of a broader initiative in coordination with the Egyptian national social initiative Haya Karima.

UMS has also launched a blood donation campaign for Gaza residents, who have suffered casualties due to Israeli shelling since October 7, with more than 11,000 civilians killed, including over 4,500 children, and 26,000 others injured.

UMS strongly condemned the Israeli bombing of a Gaza hospital and held the Israeli authorities and their supporters responsible for the Palestinian people's plight.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society received 81 humanitarian aid trucks from the Egyptian Red Crescent, totaling 650 trucks since October 21, providing food, water, medical equipment, and medications, while noting that fuel entry to Gaza has not been permitted by Israel.
