Maria Chenery-Woods, the head of Norfolk-based TQ Tickets Ltd, was jailed for four years for running a multi-million pound ticket touting operation.

Her employee, Paul Douglas, received a two-year and five-month sentence.

The company resold tickets for high-profile acts such as Ed Sheeran and Lady Gaga at inflated prices, using over 100 fake identities.

Chenery-Woods’ husband and sister received suspended sentences.

The operation earned more than £6.5 million between 2015 and 2017.

Judge Simon Batiste condemned the operation, stating it acted 'out of greed' and 'corrupted' young people.
