A 23-year-old man has been charged in relation to the death of a nine-year-old girl who was struck by a bus in Bexleyheath, southeast London, according to the Metropolitan Police.

Ada Bicakci, a Turkish-British national, was involved in the tragic incident on August 3, 2023, and passed away in hospital two days later, on August 5.

The collision also involved Ada's five-year-old brother, who was reportedly struck but taken to hospital as a precaution.

The driver of the bus, identified as Martin Asolo-Agogua, was apprehended at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury through dangerous driving and drug driving.
