Former 'This Morning' Doctor Speaks Out About 'Toxic Culture'

He also revealed that he had been approached by journalists to share his experience working on the show, but declined to "sell his story." The comments come after the show's former co-host Phillip Schofield resigned from all ITV projects after admitting to an "unwise" affair with a younger colleague on the show.

Dr Ranj, a former contestant on the British reality TV show "The Great British Bake Off" and current host of the ITV show "This Morning," shared a post on social media expressing his concerns about the show's handling of bullying and discrimination.

He claimed that certain changes were promised to be made in response to his and others' experiences, but that he has not worked on the show since and that the situation still hurts him.

He encouraged others to speak up and not feel afraid to do so, and expressed hope that something positive will come from the situation.

An ITV spokesperson responded that an external review found no evidence of bullying or discrimination.

Phillip Schofield, a co-host of "This Morning," also shared a statement admitting to having had a consensual on-off relationship with a younger male colleague at the show, which ended.

Phillip Schofield, a British television personality, admitted to having an on-off relationship with a male colleague at "This Morning" that started when the individual was a teenager.

The relationship was unwise, but not illegal.

Schofield issued a statement asking the media to respect the privacy of both himself and the individual's family.

The Mail on Sunday claimed that Schofield was forced to address the allegations after his lover told lawyers about the affair.

Schofield resigned from his role on the show after his confession.
