The public misconduct hearing was held at the force's headquarters in Winfrith and heard allegations of bullying and discriminatory behaviour made in July and August 2022 about officers serving with the Force Support Group in Bournemouth.

The panel found that PC Mark Jordan-Gill, Insp Nicholas Mantle and former officer Paul Perdrisat had breached the standards of professional behaviour.

The force also announced that two other officers, PC Michael Lowther and PC Matthew Young, had admitted misconduct and would be sanctioned at a later date.

Deputy Chief Constable Sam de Reya, the force's lead officer for professional standards, said: "The public quite rightly expect the highest standards of behaviour from serving police officers and staff as this is a core component of maintaining the trust of our communities." The force's acting chief constable, John Murphy, said: "The behaviour of these officers let the public down and I am disappointed and angry that they breached the standards expected of them." The BBC has contacted Dorset Police for further comment.
