Domino's is giving away free pizza tomorrow to mark Freedom Day

Freedom Day is almost here and we’re feeling both anxious and excited about it.

Tomorrow marks the end of 480 days in lockdown as (virtually) all restrictions come to an end in England.

And, to celebrate the occasion, Domino’s is going all out by giving away free pizza.

They’re even naming it FreeDom Day (we see what they did there).

So if you’re hosting a party or gathering, this food deal will no doubt be the cherry on top of a brilliant event.

From 11am tomorrow, July 19, the pizza company will be offering 480 free £20 vouchers for people to snap up.

If you want to be in with a chance of winning the freebies, you’ll need to put your creative thinking hat on.

In order for fans to claim the free food, they’ll need to reply to a Domino’s kick-off tweet with a really good reason why they need a pizza.

The wackier the better.

Then 480 individuals with the best responses will be messaged with a free voucher code to redeem.

Lots of people are also wondering if the end of lockdown will see the return of the Half and Half pizzas, which have been off the menu since the start of the pandemic – due to tighter kitchen restrictions and fewer chefs.

A spokesperson previously told Metro.co.uk: ‘Our popular Half and Half is a more complex and time consuming pizza to make. With less team members in store it’s important for us to reduce complexity where we can, to ensure our teams are safe and our customers do not experience any delays with their orders.’

People are hoping the Half and Half option will make a comeback much like the Double Decadence pizza, which returned last month – but only for a limited time.
