Dogecoin Body Spray Is Axe's Latest Marketing Campaign

Dogecoin Body Spray Is Axe's Latest Marketing Campaign

Back in April 20, also known as 'Doge Day', Axe, the company behind the well-known body spray, saw a grood marketing opportunity and promised to make a “crypto scented” body spray if Dogecoin hit $1.

Dogecoin $1, hasn’t happened – yet. Currently the meme coin trading well below it’s all-time high, and most people forgot about Axe’s tweet – except Axe marketing team.

Despite the 1$ mark hasn’t yet happened, starting on Tuesday, Axe will begin giving away deodorant cans of Axe Dogecan that come with a slogan “48-hour crypto scent with a dank musk.”

The cans are given for free, but they’re limited (as a good marketing campaign always is). Given the enthusiasm of the Dogecoin community, they’re likely run out fast. If you are keen to get a hold of one, you can register here starting Tuesday, July 20, at 10:00 a.m. ET.

“We’re going to the moon,” read Axe’s marketing statement sent out with sample cans. “In this can, you’ll find the crypto-confidence you need to get there. This isn’t a scent to stop and celebrate how far the Doge Army has come. It’s the scent to rocket all the way there. So strap in.”

The Doge Community (or Doge Army) embraced the campaign.

The number one meme coin has had bumpy ride since it’s all-time high 72 cents. Currently DOGE trades at $0.17 according to CoinMarketCap.
