DGCA Finds No Major Safety Concerns in Air India's Boeing 787 Fleet
Enhanced inspections follow fatal crash of Dreamliner aircraft
India's aviation regulator, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), has reported no major safety issues in Air India's Boeing 787 fleet following enhanced inspections initiated after a recent fatal crash.
The DGCA stated that 24 of the airline's 33 Dreamliners have completed the mandated safety checks, with the remaining inspections underway.
While the fleet meets current safety standards, the investigation into the crash, which resulted in 271 fatalities, continues with international assistance.
