Charles and Peggy, as they were known, grew up on a family farm in Corwen. They dedicated most of their estate to the charity upon their deaths.

Their generous donation will fund over 280 lifesaving missions. The siblings chose to support the air ambulance as a token of gratitude for the assistance Charles received after an accident with a tractor.

They lived simple lives, were dedicated to the family farm, and were active in their local community, with Charles even driving the school taxi.
