David Beckham Named Global Ambassador for AliExpress During Euros

David Beckham has signed a deal to be a global ambassador for AliExpress, owned by Alibaba, coinciding with the upcoming UEFA EURO 2024 in Germany. Beckham will lead the Score More promotion, offering fans great prizes during the tournament. Alongside other Chinese sponsors, BYD and Vivo, AliExpress endorses the event, crucially underscored by Beckham's endorsement and the couple’s combined fortune of £455m.
David Beckham has signed a deal to become a global ambassador for AliExpress, an online retail platform owned by Chinese tech giant Alibaba.

The announcement aligns with the upcoming UEFA EURO 2024 football tournament in Germany.

Neither Beckham nor AliExpress disclosed the financial terms of the deal.

In March, AliExpress partnered exclusively with UEFA as its e-commerce platform partner.

Under the agreement, Beckham will be the face of the Score More promotion during game matches.

He expressed enthusiasm about bringing fans closer to UEFA EURO 2024, offering prizes during the tournament.

AliExpress joins other major Chinese firms like BYD and Vivo in sponsoring the Euros.

Beckham, now an entrepreneur, has endorsed various brands since retiring from football.

According to the Sunday Times Rich List, Beckham and his wife Victoria have a combined fortune of £455m ($581.6m).

The Euros, scheduled from 14 June to 14 July across 10 German cities, will be one of the year's largest sporting events, with 2.7 million tickets available.

UEFA reported that the 2020 Euros had a global live TV audience of 5.2 billion, with 328 million watching the final.
