Dakota Johnson just confirmed she has one of the best red carpet wardrobes in Hollywood

She became a household name almost overnight when Fifty Shades of Grey was released, but Dakota Johnson's style has seen something of a more gradual evolution.

From the early days of peep-toe sandals, sheer black tights and mini prom dresses in the noughties to her high fashion red carpet moments of today, the young star has truly hit her sartorial peak.

Culminating in perhaps her most spectacular look to date on Sunday evening at the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscars party, there were very few guests who caused jaws to drop quite like that feathered, blush pink Gucci gown from Alessandro Michele’s Spring 2022 ready-to-wear collection, AKA the Gucci Love Parade.

No stranger to a red carpet showstopper, Dakota has worn everything from Dior to Versace, Schiaparelli to Brandon Maxwell during her many appearances. But, being one of the fashion house's hero ambassadors, there's no denying her affinity to Gucci.

Having worn the Italian luxury fashion house on numerous major red carpets, including Venice Film Festival, the Met Gala, the Golden Globes and endless movie premieres, Gucci and Dakota Johnson have become something of a match made in heaven.
