Inner London Crown Court where Mohammed Barrie, a man from Brixton, is accused of allowing the death of his two-month-old child and child cruelty. His wife, Raby Diallo, admitted beating their newborn baby, Aissatu Barrie, to death.

The child was found unresponsive on the sofa and later discovered to have sustained traumatic brain injuries, 36 rib fractures, and other injuries consistent with shaking. Prosecutors allege that Mr. Barrie was aware of these injuries, but he denied having any concerns about his wife's ability to care for their child.

He also mentioned seeking supernatural help and advice from a spiritual healer. The trial is ongoing.
