A fatal collision that occurred in Shoreditch, Hackney, East London, involving a cyclist, a Tesla, and a private hire vehicle. The incident took place on Great Eastern Street, and the cyclist, a 40-year-old man, was treated at the scene and then hospitalized on August 14. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries on September 19.

Detectives investigating the collision have released an image of another cyclist they are trying to identify and speak with. They believe this cyclist may have interacted with the Tesla driver shortly before the collision, which also involved a minicab. The Tesla owner, a 44-year-old, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and has been released under investigation.

The private hire vehicle driver sustained minor injuries. The police are seeking information from the pictured cyclist to aid in their investigation, and the deceased cyclist's family has been informed and is receiving support from specialist officers.
