Dale Hyndman, a resident of Raphoe, County Donegal, said that the flooding had destroyed everything he had saved up over the years.

Several homes in Castlederg, County Tyrone, were also damaged by the flooding.

A DUP councillor said that he had never seen conditions as poor in the town as he did on Saturday night.

Keith Kerrigan, who is a local resident, said that he knew of several homes that had water damage.

The rain has also caused difficult driving conditions and some roads have been closed due to flooding.

Residents and businesses in Raphoe, County Tyrone, are working together to clean up after heavy rain caused flooding in the area.

Leonard Stewart's barber shop, located in the town, was among the businesses affected by the flooding.

Dale Hyndman, a resident of Raphoe, described the flooding as "devastating" for the town, which is no stranger to flooding.

In fact, Mr. Hyndman said that the flooding has been happening "since before I was born." He added that the amount of damage caused by the flooding, as well as the time and money required to fix it, is "catastrophic." Despite the challenges, Mr. Stewart remains optimistic, noting that "everyone is pulling together as a community to try to help each other out." He acknowledged that he is lucky compared to some of his neighbors, whose homes and businesses were damaged more severely.

Mr. Hyndman also commended the community for coming together to help each other out during the flooding.

He said that the town has an engineering problem that needs to be addressed, and that there were plenty of people around to help with the clean-up effort.

Overall, the town of Raphoe is working hard to recover from the flooding, with residents and businesses alike pulling together to help each other out.

While the damage caused by the flooding is certainly significant, the community is determined to rebuild and move forward.
