Darren Osment, a pub chef accused of murdering his ex-partner Claire Holland in June 2012, has allegedly confessed to an undercover police officer. Osment reportedly told the officer that Ms. Holland would not "be seeing the light of day again."

Despite extensive police investigations, Claire Holland, aged 32 at the time, has never been found. Osment, now 41, has pleaded not guilty to her murder. The undercover officer, posing as a man called Paddy O'Hara with supposed ties to organized crime, befriended Osment and gathered information.

Osment allegedly spoke derogatorily about Ms. Holland and expressed disturbing thoughts about witnesses and the lack of evidence against him. The trial is ongoing at Bristol Crown Court.
