CI Coop Community Fund Supports 28 Channel Islands Charities
The Channel Islands Cooperative Society Community Fund donated over forty thousand dollars this spring to 28 charities in the Channel Islands. Beneficiaries include Acorn Enterprises, Brighter Futures, Jersey Trees for Life, and the Jersey Brain Tumour Charity. The fund has supported 245 projects with nearly two hundred fifty thousand dollars in donations since its inception.
The Channel Islands Cooperative Society (CI Coop) Community Fund donated over forty thousand dollars to 28 charities and causes across the Channel Islands this spring.
Beneficiaries include Acorn Enterprises, which received three hundred fifty dollars to help train islanders with disabilities, and Brighter Futures, which received one thousand one hundred dollars for its summer breakfast club.
Other donations include one thousand five hundred dollars to Jersey Trees for Life for equipment and one thousand eight hundred dollars to the Jersey Brain Tumour Charity for a counselling room.
CI Coop has pledged one percent of sales from locally produced products to fund future applications, and the autumn round of funding is now open.
Since its inception, the fund has supported 245 projects with nearly two hundred fifty thousand dollars in donations.
