Naturalist Chris Packham Wins Libel Case Against Website Accusing Him of Misleading Donations to Tiger Rescue Charity
Naturalist Chris Packham has won a libel claim against a website that alleged he misled people into donating to a tiger rescue charity.
Packham sued three men for libel at the High Court.
The judge ruled in Packham's favor against two of the defendants, ordering them to pay damages to the Springwatch host.
The third defendant was dismissed.
Packham said he was targeted because of his views on blood sports and the judge agreed that the defendants had targeted him with "outright vitriol."
