A Chinese doctoral student has been sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 24 years after being convicted of drugging and raping 10 women in the UK and China.

Court evidence revealed he used online platforms and dating apps to lure victims to his home, where he administered sedatives, filmed the assaults, and kept personal items as trophies.

Investigators warn there may be more than 50 unidentified victims, marking this case as one of the most extensive sexual predator cases in recent history.

Authorities are appealing for any additional survivors to come forward.
