China to Challenge US Tariffs at WTO

The Chinese government announced its intention to challenge the United States at the World Trade Organization (WTO) over recently imposed tariffs on Chinese goods.

The Commerce Ministry, in a statement released on Sunday, characterized the US tariff increase as a violation of WTO regulations.

The statement further indicated that China would implement retaliatory measures in response to the tariffs.

US President Donald Trump implemented the tariffs, citing concerns over the flow of migrants and drugs into the United States.
