A recent report highlights a 30 percent increase in obesity among 10- and 11-year-olds in England since 2006.

The study, conducted by the Food Foundation, attributes this worrying trend to factors such as poverty and aggressive promotion of junk food.

The report also notes a decline in the height of five-year-olds since 2013 and a 22 percent rise in type 2 diabetes among individuals under 25 in the past five years.
