The trade group has faced allegations of sexual harassment within the organization, including from two women who claimed they were raped by colleagues.
As a result of the scandal, several companies have suspended or paused their membership with the CBI.
In response, the organization launched an independent review, which found that its culture "under-prioritized people management skills," but rejected the suggestion that it was "toxic" or "misogynistic." The CBI is set to present a plan for renewal at a meeting next week, where members will vote on whether the changes made are sufficient to restore confidence in the organization.
However, several companies that recently left the CBI have not received invitations to the meeting.
