UK Business Group Faces Crisis Amidst Sexual Misconduct Scandal and Membership Loss

The Confederation of British Industry (CBI) is facing a crisis after sexual misconduct allegations and the loss of several members.

The organization has sought legal advice on possible insolvency and restructuring options, including the possibility of being smaller and refocused in the future.

The CBI's president has admitted that the organization hired "culturally toxic" individuals and made mistakes in handling complaints.

The group's president, Brian McBride, has detailed a range of failings and plans for improving the CBI's operations.

Several people have been dismissed following an independent investigation by Fox Williams.

The CBI is set to reveal detailed plans for its future on Wednesday.
