Catherine, Princess of Wales, attended her first public event of the year at the annual Trooping the Colour parade, a celebration marking the King's official birthday.

Catherine, currently undergoing chemotherapy for cancer, appeared smiling and waving from the Buckingham Palace balcony amidst the rain.

King Charles III, also receiving cancer treatment, traveled in a carriage instead of on horseback.

The event drew thousands despite heavy rain, with Princess Kate accompanied by her children Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte.

The Royal Family, including Prince William, Princess Anne, and Prince Edward, participated in the ceremony, which featured the Irish Guards as the sovereign's escort and a 41-gun salute followed by an RAF flypast.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was among the attendees, and anti-monarchy protesters were visible on the Mall.
